New Member Online Application

New Members: Our membership cycle runs from August 1- July 31. If you apply as a new member during the months of April, May, June, or July your membership will be extended to July 31st of the following year.

For the RID Member categories, your RID membership MUST be verified before your application can be approved.

ALL Student members are required to submit appropriate documentation showing proof of your eligibility for this category. All documentation is to be emailed to the Membership Chair.

All FRID membership payments must be made online. We do not accept any checks or cash payments.

FRID membership dues are non-refundable. Once you submit your application, refunds cannot be made! Please make sure you are certain before completing an application!

RID Member - $40.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: August 1st
Your membership renewal date will be: 01 Aug 2025 No automatically recurring payments Any individual who is an active member in good standing of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Inc. (RID) would qualify for this membership category. Members of this category shall have voting privileges in FRID.

Non-RID Member - $35.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: August 1st
Your membership renewal date will be: 01 Aug 2025 No automatically recurring payments Any individual with an interest in supporting the purposes and activities of FRID, but who is not an active member in good standing of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) would qualify for this membership category. Members of this category shall not have voting privileges in FRID.

Student RID Member - $20.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: August 1st
Your membership renewal date will be: 01 Aug 2025 No automatically recurring payments Any individual, who is currently enrolled in an Interpreter Training Program (ITP) at a college or university, with an interest in supporting the purposes and activities of FRID, and is an active member of RID. Members of this category shall not have voting privileges in FRID. NOTE: Proof of enrollment is required.

Student Non-RID Member - $15.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: August 1st
Your membership renewal date will be: 01 Aug 2025 No automatically recurring payments Any individual, who is currently enrolled in an Interpreter Training Program (ITP) at a college or university, with an interest in supporting the purposes and activities of FRID, and is not an active member of RID. Members of this category shall not have voting privileges in FRID. NOTE: Proof of enrollment is required.

Senior Citizen RID Member - $35.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: August 1st
Your membership renewal date will be: 01 Aug 2025 No automatically recurring payments Any individual who is an active member in good standing of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Inc. (RID) and who is aged 55 or older would qualify for this membership category. Members of this category shall have voting privileges in FRID.

Senior Citizen Non-RID Member - $30.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: August 1st
Your membership renewal date will be: 01 Aug 2025 No automatically recurring payments Any individual, who is aged 55 or older, with an interest in supporting the purposes and activities of FRID, but who is not an active member in good standing of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) would qualify for this membership category. Members of this category shall not have voting privileges in FRID.

Organizational Membership - $77.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: August 1st
Your membership renewal date will be: 01 Aug 2025 No automatically recurring payments Any organization or institution with an interest in supporting the purposes and activities of FRID would qualify for this membership category. Members of this category shall not have voting privileges in FRID.
NOTE: Organizational Memberships are not for individuals.

Supporting Member - $35.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: August 1st
Your membership renewal date will be: 01 Aug 2025 No automatically recurring payments Effective July 2023.
Any individual with an interest in supporting the purposes and activities of FRID, but who does not fit into one of the other categories outlined above would qualify for this membership category. Members of this category shall not have voting privileges in FRID.
